After reading Ego is the Enemy, I picked up another of Ryan Holiday best seller - Obstacle is the Way.
Ryan admits: Nothing is original (in the book), but more of curating the best of Stoicism and history.
While a nice read, the idea it delivers is actually simple, and summed up in the title, or on his left arm.
Turn obstacle into opportunity
We are bound to have obstacle in life.
Our attitude and action makes what we are.
You have a problem? Solve it. That’s how you GROW.
The book quoted many great men in history who faced obstacles much tougher than the average man.
My obstacles pale in comparison.
I shouldn’t even complain.
