For quite a long while, Frank by OCBC is one of the best credit card, because of the 6% rebate for online purchases.
But on 1 Oct 2015, they revised their rules, and added this crappy condition:
A minimum spend of S$400 on the FRANK Credit Card is required to qualify for additional cash rebate on online purchases, entertainment and NETS FlashPay Auto Top-Ups (ATU).
This S$400 excludes online transactions and NETS FlashPay ATU. Monthly rebates are capped at S$60 per month.
That is to say, you need to spend $400 OFFLINE first, then you can qualify for the 6% rebate online!
While we understood credit cards company play such games frequently, flame them, then let’s move on.
