One of the most important resource is the Tenancy Agreement. CEA provided a lengthy template for whole flat, which covers everything.
As for renting of only bedrooms, I couldn’t find a good template, so I copied and adapted my own.
A summary of the steps:
- Check eligibility
- Post on Carousell, Gumtree, Ohmyhome, etc
- Get HDB Approval ($20)
- Sign Tenancy Agreement & collect deposit
- Pay stamp duty to IRAS
- Move in & inventory list
- Re-contract (repeat step 3-5)
