I had been a avid user of LivingSocial’s Books app on Facebook. This is because I felt it is a rightful app on Facebook, to share books with friends.
Unfortunately, the app is discontinuing. I saw this notice:
Their team and company have redefined a new direction, in which the app is not in the plan. They can’t support the app going forward.
As such, they are liberating their services and users’ data, and recommending another similar service – GoodReads.
I am disappointed, but also applaud them for being responsible to their users.
